Picpoul de Pinet is an appelation in southern France's Languedoc region, sepcialising in zippy, aromatic whies made exclusively from Picpoul grapes. Its Mediterranean climate and proximity to the Etang de Thau saltwater lagoon conveys fresh characteristics and a strong marine influence.
