Characterised by aromas of deliciously soured blackberry and grilled black plum, which leads onto a palate of spicy blackcurrants. Fruits are complimented by cherry blossom, discreet spices, and a savoury herbal note. This is super juicy with supple ripe tannins, bright acidity, and a long, fruited finish. Seared duck with a blackcurrant sauce, or pigeon with ceps will make an excellent partner to this red Burgundy.
