
This is the larger half of the estate which was split in two, in 1942 by the brothers François and Marcel Borie - a family name synonymous with Bordeaux. The 60 hectares of vines lie to the south west of the town of Pauillac and are planted on typical gravel over a bed of sandstone and clay. The plantings, which generally reflect the blend,82% Cabernet-Sauvignon, 15% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc
