The second wine of the iconic Ornellaia estate, Le Serre Nuove is a Bordeaux blend, with the 2021 vintage being particularly big and bold. It is refreshing on the nose with berries interlaced with pink pepper and garrigue notes, whilst dark fruit, chocolate, liquorice, and cloves saturate the palate. For all its power, the wine is elegant with a lovely acidity and a savoury finish. For the ultimate high low experience, pair with a beef burger complete with hard cheese.
