Les Griffons de Pichon Baron is a second wine of Pauillac property Château Pichon Baron. The 2019 has a delicate bouquet of black fruits, which deepen into ripe blackcurrant and black cherry with hints of herbs and violets that are complemented by subtle oak and spicy notes. The mouthfeel is full bodied and structured with ample tannins that are balanced by a mineral note and sleek finish. A wine with great ageing potential, characterised and precise.
