2019 was a great vintage for red Burgundy and Roty’s Marsannay en Ouzelois proves the point. The nose is a vibrant mix of black fruits and spice with a subtle savoury note. The palate is much more ample with ripe cassis, plum, musk and liquorice flavours. Velvety, mouth-coating tannins are balanced by a crunchy freshness on the finish. Duck is always a winner with red Burgundy, as is Boeuf Bourguignon.
