Grapes come from vineyards of over 40 years of age to produce this excellent Rioja Reserva. On the nose, aromas of ripe strawberry and liquorice blend with the undertone notes of ageing in oak barrels. After 24 months barrel ageing (50% French oak and 50% American oak) and a further 12 months in bottle before release, in the mouth, the wine is fresh yet full flavoured with rounded, ripe tannins.
