Mongolian Virgin Oak

From the remote forests of northeast China, where Mongolian oak grows wild and untamed. This oak is dense and tight grained, taking up to a century to reach maturity. Under strict Chinese logging laws, only wind-felled trees may be harvested. Once collected, the logs are hauled from this wild and remote terrain using traditional pony teams. Each cask is rare and valuable.
