Perhaps one of the most recognisable Bourbons in the world, Woodford Reserve has a long legacy of whisky production in Kentucky’s Bluegrass region, dating back to 1812. Woodford Reserve remains true to tradition, using copper pot stills and a mash bill of corn, rye, and malted barley. The spirit is then aged for four years in charred American oak barrels, allowing the whiskey to permeate deeply into the wood, enhancing its character. These casks have proven to produce some of Annandale’s finest and award-winning single cask single malts, known for their complexity and depth. Previous bottlings have exhibited fresh orchard fruit, ripe berries, creamy vanilla, and subtle wood spice, creating a harmonious balance of flavours. Woodford Reserve casks continue to be a staple at Annandale, delivering exceptional results year after year. Their influence enhances the natural character of our spirit, producing rich, layered, and beautifully balanced single malts that stand among the finest expressions of our whisky.
