Matured in a fresh ex-bourbon cask, this 2018 vintage Man O’Words whisky from Annandale Distillery highlights the bright and expressive character of our unpeated spirit. Fresh bourbon oak allows the natural fruit and malt notes of the spirit to take centre stage while gradually building sweetness and gentle spice through maturation. Cask 1139 has developed a beautifully balanced profile. Vanilla and soft malt lead the nose, followed by fresh orchard fruits and subtle wood spice. The palate carries a waxy texture, bringing sweetness and structure together before settling into a composed medium finish. Bottled at natural cask strength, without chill filtration or added colouring, this expression remains a pure reflection of the individual cask.
