Based in the Speyside region, Benriach Distillery is known for its fruity character. This, paired with the sweet and spicy flavour contribution from an ex-Bourbon cask, promises a moreish and smooth taste profile. Distilled in 2012, cask number 750335 was matured on-site at Ardgowan Distillery, allowing its flavour development to be closely monitored by Whisky Maker Laura Davies. This limited edition of just 226 bottles is presented at a cask strength of 56.0% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added colouring. TASTING NOTES COLOUR: Bright gold NOSE: Tropical fruit pavlova. PALATE: Buttercream icing, retro boiled sweets and fruit salad. FINISH: Lingering tones of pineapple and mango.
