
Single Malt from Aberlour Distillery in Speyside is typically full bodied and indulgent. When married with Bourbon cask maturation, the result is a rich, buttery dram full of character. Distilled in 2013, cask number 300088 was matured on-site at Ardgowan Distillery, allowing its flavour development to be closely monitored by Whisky Maker Laura Davies. This limited edition of just 192 bottles is presented at a cask strength of 58.1% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added colouring. TASTING NOTES COLOUR: Rich golden NOSE: Clean and inviting, with a buttery fudge aroma. PALATE: Whipped cream and ‘sherbet fruits’ boiled sweets. FINISH: More sweetness, with fresh vanilla pods.
