At Ardgowan, we are passionate about Sherry cask maturation. This exceptional cask sets the stage for the Single Malt we are laying down at the distillery. Distilled at Ben Nevis Distillery in 2014, cask number 800040 was matured on-site at Ardgowan Distillery to allow its flavour development to be closely monitored by Whisky Maker Laura Davies. Bottled at a cask strength of 60.0% ABV, non-chill filtered and without added colouring. This is a limited edition of just 327 bottles. TASTING NOTES COLOUR: Rich Amber NOSE: Cinnamon stewed pears. PALATE: Butterscotch sauce and freshly grated nutmeg. FINISH: More sweet spices alongside brown sugar.
