The Id is one of our pair of "oxymoron beers". An IPA is famously an Indian PALE Ale, so a black IPA doesn't really make sense! The Id is inspired by the Freudian concept of the: Id, Ego and Superego. With the Id being the selfish part of the personality having many desires without reason! To that end the Id has everything you desire; A rich chocolate black malt base, a merry amount of alcohol and a strong hop finish. The Id is the sister beer to the Ego - Session IPA
