Chamson showcases beer from a single 18 month old barrel, fermented with our house culture and then aged for 24 months on carbonically macerated British cherries and damsons. The long ageing on fruit has brought out the subtleties of the fruit and created a deeply complex beer. Warming allspice and marzipan on the nose leads into tart and tannic fruit on the palate with beautiful woody notes and fluffy effervescence that brings a prickle of acidity before the soft, hedgerow berry finish.
