Mountain Mead (Medd Mynydd), accessible at blackmountainmead.co.uk, is a North Wales meadery founded in 2016 by Mike Cooke in the foothills of Snowdonia. Handcrafting small batches using the finest Welsh honey and natural ingredients, the meadery produces traditional, fruit and spiced metheglins — all bottled and labelled on-site — winning multiple international awards including the Mead Madness Cup and La Copa Reina in Spain.
