Named after Queen Cartimandua, leader of the Brigantes tribe in Northern England, the Queen of the North is our flagship traditional method sparkling wine. A blend of Solaris, Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir Précoce, the 2022 vintage has benefited from extended lees ageing, bringing subtle complexity while allowing the vibrant fruit character to shine. Bright citrus, crisp orchard fruits and juicy stone fruit notes lead to a long, beautifully balanced and refreshingly dry finish. For us, this wine perfectly captures the Dunesforde style: expressive fruit flavours, exceptional balance and a long finish. It is a sparkling wine made to be enjoyed, whether celebrating a special occasion or simply making an ordinary moment feel a little more memorable.
