Seasonal Beer: Hook Island Red

Originally one of the three core beers that The Five Points started with in 2013, Hook Island Red is now a beloved seasonal brew. A full-bodied, hoppy Red Ale brewed with rye malt. Peppery notes with a hint of spice held up by a big, bold, malty backbone. It’s complex, flavourful and interesting. But, it’s not all about the malt with Hook Island Red. Kilos of West Coast hops – Chinook, Columbus and Simcoe – add flavours of resinous pine with a hint of passionfruit. Style: Red Rye Ale ABV: 6% Hop
