In Cumbrian dialect, ‘Back Yam’ simply means ‘Back home’. Our Back Yam beer was brewed as a celebration of brewing coming home to Cockermouth, and Jennings’ return to independence in 2025. Back Yam is a Golden Ale brewed with our famous well water, Maris Otter Pale and Oat malts with a dash of Crystal malt to add depth of flavour.
