Tasting Notes: Deep ruby in colour, with aromas of stewed red fruits, pepper and spice. The palate is medium bodied with gentle tannins and a slight earthiness, alongside flavours of juicy red fruits and spice. The perfect wine for more full flavoured meat and mushroom based dishes. Winemakers Notes: A cheats wine in many ways! In our climate we cannot ripen either Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon as they simply ripen too late, so the grapes for this are grown under cover.
