This is a simply made cider from Major, an apple that ranks amongst the highest of all the varieties (forgive the pun). Even better, the fruit was grown by our good friends the Johnsons on Broome Farm near Ross-on-Wye from their carefully managed, unsprayed orchards. The apples were pressed in the second half of October, spontaneously fermented and eventually racked into bottle to complete their journey.
