Stewed plums, raisins and sultanas. Fine dark chocolate combined with baking spices provide a lovely depth and structure. Palate: A thick, syrup-like feel, with spiced red fruits, vanilla custard and wild strawberries. Smooth tannins, dried figs, dates and a lovely likeness to Christmas pudding. Finish: Warming notes of toffee and nuts. Hints of Victoria sponge cake fade into an oaky, peppery spice.
