Kaoruyama

White Wine

An experimental bottle from the Odayaka brand. This sake is inspired by the words of the eleventh-century poet Tachibana no Tamenaka, who was impressed by the exquisite fragrance of the wild cherry blossoms of Haga, nestled in the mountains of Fukushima. Kaoruyama tastes similar to a white wine made from organic rice, and can be enjoyed by anyone, including those who have never drunk sake before. It has a specific tartness given by the use of white koji (normally used for shochu making) and yeas
