This 18 years old Daiginjo, slowly matured at a very low temperature in the bottle, is made with Yamadanishiki rice, often called the king of rice in the sake world. The initial sake was made to be submitted to the most prestigious sake competition of the year in Japan called the Kanpyokai, so this sake is Kikunotsukasa Brewery's submission sake 18 years ago.
