Our Victuallers Special Edition ‘Snapes Point Sloe Gin’ is back again, just in time for the festive season. Distilled in Salcombe at the water’s edge, this meticulously crafted sloe gin is inspired by autumnal walks along the clifftops as the days draw in. Only the finest botanicals sourced from around the globe are used, paired with foraged sloe berries and judicious use of sugar, to create a wonderfully smooth and rich liqueur that pays tribute to the copper-hulled Salcombe Fruiters and the voyages of discovery in pursuit of the finest fruits. This Sloe Gin is wonderfully smooth and rich. On the nose, it has notes of ripe plums, almonds, and frangipane, followed by blackcurrants, cherries, and sweet spices. The finish is a hint of pepper and earthy tartness. Best served neat or over ice, simply topped with Champagne or sparkling wine, or in a Bramble for the perfect seasonal cocktail.
