This single vineyard Pinot Noir is medium bodied with aromas of ripe cherries and blackcurrant, with a smooth earthy finish. We achieved high ripeness leading to a large percentage of the wine being barrel aged. The blend added complexity and hints of vanilla on the palate. This wine pairs well with cured meats, cheese and game and can be chilled to 16ºC. Shotley Vineyard has over 4,000 Pinot Noir vines planted in the late 1990's.
