Cask No. 6077 was laid down in October 1966 under the watchful eye of Islay Shaw, Tomintoul’s very first distillery manager. The specially commissioned bourbon barrel made from American oak staves by a local Speyside cooperage, has yielded only 79 bottles of remarkably rich and complex single malt. This single cask whisky is hand-filled into individually numbered crystal decanters. This is a truly unique and rare bottling from Tomintoul Distillery.
