This is your Tutored wine tasting ticket – you must bring this with you to the Vineyard. If you’ve not already done so, please purchase an entrance ticket (£4 online in advance, £5 at the gate) Thank you for your purchase and we look forward to welcoming you to our tutored wine tasting at the Open Day at Warden Abbey Vineyard Open Day. The tutored tasting will be led by Mark Horton of Cambridge Wine Merchants in Ampthill. Each half hour session includes a tasting of three wines. The tasting takes place at the far end the vineyard. Just walk down between row 74 and 75 and you’ll find the tasting tent. You can also book at Vineyard tour which start and finish at the Tour tent at the top of the vineyard just beyond the information tent and plant stall. From the vineyard entrance turn left and it’s about 50 yards away. There will also be a range of stalls selling local crafts and produce as well as food stalls and ice cream. The majority of our stall holders take cards to minimise cash handling, but it might be prudent to bring some cash too. Directions We can be a little tricky to find – look out for the roadside brown Warden Abbey Vineyard sign on the lane between Old Warden and Cardington. Please note the vineyard is on a gentle slope and the ground is uneven. There is no winery on the site. We have plenty of parking for cars.
