Burrow Hill Cider is home to Julian Temperley's legendary Somerset cider and the Somerset Cider Brandy Company at Pass Vale Farm, Kingsbury Episcopi. Cider has been made here for over 200 years; in 1989 Julian received the UK's first full cider-distilling licence, reviving the ancient craft of cider brandy after 300 years' absence in three traditional Normandy copper stills. Burrow Hill is the only cider to have won national championships in Devon, Somerset and Hereford in the same year.
