About
Ardnahoe Distillery opened in April 2019 on the north-east coast of Islay, the first new distillery on the island in 15 years. Owned entirely by the Hunter Laing family, the distillery draws water from Loch Ardnahoe and is home to Islay's only traditional worm tubs and Scotland's longest lyne arms. Voted Best New Distillery at the 2025 Online Scotch Whisky Awards, Ardnahoe produces peated single malts with a distinctive island character.
