About
Glen Albyn Distillery was a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distillery in Inverness, founded in 1844 and demolished in 1988 after closure in 1983. The distillery produced a light, grassy Inverness-style single malt; remaining stocks are now extremely scarce and available only through independent bottlers, making original bottlings highly prized by collectors of lost and silent distilleries.
