About

Glenglassaugh Distillery is a coastal Highland distillery founded in 1875 at Portsoy on the Aberdeenshire coast, closed in 1986 and controversially revived in 2008 by The BenRiach Distillery Company (now Brown-Forman). Drawing water from a spring in the Knock Hills, the distillery produces a fruity, maritime-influenced single malt — available as Revival, Evolution and a range of older vintage bottlings — with a visitor centre at its beautifully situated clifftop location.
