Bardfield Vineyard sits within Great Lodge, a centuries-old North Essex estate farmed by the Jordan family for over 100 years. First planted in 1989 with Bacchus — chosen for the Alsace-like soils and climate — the vineyard now also grows Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Seyval Blanc, producing medal-winning still and sparkling wines. Guided tours and tastings are held in the estate's Grade I-listed Anne of Cleves Barn.
