About
Bewl Water Vineyard occupies five acres on gently south-sloping Wadhurst clay on the Sussex/Kent border, abutting the largest freshwater body in South East England. With Bacchus among the oldest plantings in the UK and Pinot Noir from Burgundy clones, winemaker Ashton Radford-Kirby produces hand-harvested small-batch sparkling and still wines of remarkable quality, winning a Gold Medal at the 2025 London Wine Competition.
